The hit anime and manga series "Tokyo Ghoul" continues the story of Ken Kaneki in its manga format. The news for season 3 is still scarce but when it returns, the anime will not only focus on Kaneki as it will also feature the lives of Touka, Furuta and other ghouls set to save or destroy human civilization.

"Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 Spoilers: Kaneki's Return and Touka's Education
Season 3 for "Tokyo Ghoul" is still in limbo but its return is nearly assured because of the manga's popularity. When the anime series returns, Ken Kaneki will take on a different personality and a totally different mission. Instead of working against CCG, he is now working for them as an investigator.
On the other hand, Touka's decision for a college education is still unknown. The manga version did not indicate if she indeed studied in Kamii University although she is back in the café after it was restored.
A New Powerful Enemy in "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3
If the upcoming third does return according to Anime News Network, the series could also chronicle the rise of Ken Kaneki as the "One Eyed King" after helping other ghouls in Cochlea. But Kaneki will have to face Souta or Furuta who also rose to power and became the Washuu King by uniting V and Clowns.
The upcoming chapters of the manga series will reveal the plan of Kaneki. Although the OEK will try to woo CCG to his side, another villain rises as Furuta becomes a powerful ghoul that could challenge everyone in their way.
The latest chapter of "Tokyo Ghoul:re" in Manga Fox sets the events for Kaneki to reach out to CCG as he tries to find ways for humans and ghouls to live together. With the backing of his new group the "Black Goat," Kaneki has enough support from other ghouls if fight ensures. After all, he promises to drag them to the table if they refuse his request for negotiation.
Season 3 is coming but there is no announcement of the anime release date. However, the manga series continue the story of Kaneki as he becomes the OEK and he'll find a way to make humans and ghouls live together.
