Good news to all EXO-Ls! SM Entertainment has finally confirmed the release date of Lay's upcoming Chinese album and it will be soon.

According to Allkpop, Lay's newest Chinese album is called "Lose Control" and will be launched on Oct. 28. The upcoming album of the EXO member reportedly features a total of six tracks, which were personally written and composed by Lay.

Just recently, Lay released his single "what U need" on his birthday to thank the EXO-Ls for their support. Aside from being the writer and composer of his debut single, Lay also took part in the planning and designing of its official music video, Soompi noted.

Lay seemed to have dropped a teaser of his upcoming album in "what U need" MV as the final frame shows "Lose Control" and "Coming Soon."

Meanwhile, many EXO-Ls expressed their concern towards Lay when he fainted at the Incheon International Airport while waiting for their flight to Japan. The EXO member was immediately rushed to the hospital, revealing that the idol remained unconscious while being transported.

Some EXO-Ls pointed their fingers at SM Entertainment for the incident, blaming the label for Lay's hectic schedule. However, the EXO member was quick to address the issue and took the blame for the incident at the airport.

"The fainting was my fault. Please don't curse the people who work with me in the same company. The arrangement of the schedule was mostly my choice," Lay said.

The EXO member went on, "I'm the type who doesn't like to admit defeat so I try to do everything I can. The agency respects my thoughts."

Meanwhile, watch Lay in his first single as a solo artist, "what U need."
