MAMAMOO members reportedly got involved in a minor car crash while on their way to a music festival on Thursday.

According to Soompi, the MAMAMOO members were headed to the 49th Yeongdong Nangye Korean Traditional Festival when they encountered a minor car accident at around 6:40 pm, making them miss the said music festival.

On the same day, RBW Entertainment released a statement about the car accident. "While the accident was minor, we thought going to the hospital was the first priority, so we went to a nearby hospital and [the members] got a checkup," the label said.

"Once we were able to confirm that the members were all okay, we tried to make it to the event, but it was too late," RBW Entertainment added.

The label also wants to assure the fans that the MAMAMOO members are all doing fine. RBW Entertainment also apologized for not making it to the music festival, where the girl group was supposed to perform.

Despite reassurance from the label, fans are still worried about accidents like this. A commenter posted, "First Seulri, now MAMAMOO. Come on! You need to have mandatory driving lessons for everyone every 8 months."

Another commenter said these accidents should not be taken lightly, adding that someone has to do something to stop car accidents.

Recently, Red Velvet's Seulgi and Yeri were also involved in a minor car accident while on their way home on Monday. Reports suggest the taxi they were riding hit a truck due to reckless driving.

Although the Red Velvet members were bruised, their label assured the two are fine, Allkpop reported. "Currently, the two are resting in their dorm, and the two will temporarily halt all promotions to focus on recovering."
