ELFs will not be seeing Ryeowook for quite some time until July 2018, but the Super Junior member has a promise to his fans before he entered the military.
According to Allkpop, Ryeowook held a fan meeting on Tuesday where he showed his army haircut. The Super Junior member also told his fans, "I'll return safe and sound. I'll return healthy in July of 2018," while doing the military salute.
Ryeowook will go through a five-week basic training at the 37 army recruit training center before he could start his 21-month military service. Meanwhile, many well-wishers send their thoughts to the Super Junior member on his enlistment day, Soompi reported.
Super Junior leader Leeteuk took to his Instagram account to wish his co-member well in his service. "There's no need for anything else, just come back healthy," Leeteuk wrote alongside a group photo.
On the other hand, Yesung shared a sweet photo of him and Leeteuk on Twitter and captioned, "Come back healthy. I love you until the day you return to your spot, Ryeowook."
Super Junior's Donghae, who is currently enlisted, changed his profile picture on Instagram with a photo of himself and Ryeowook. Donghae even changed his Instagram name to "Remember RW."
Not only his Super Junior co-members shared their kind words towards Ryeowook on his enlistment, but also his label mates on SM Entertainment such as Kangta who took to his Instagram account a photo of Ryeowook doing a military salute.
Also, VIXX's N shared a photo of himself with Ryeowook and captioned, "He looks cool even with short hair, right? Come back healthy! I'll miss you!"
