Former Super Junior Hangeng revealed he planned to perform with the boy group to celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2015; however, he said his dream to be on stage with his former band mates was not granted for some reasons.

"When Super Junior celebrated their 10th anniversary last year, it crossed my mind that I should have stood on stage with them. If it had been possible, I would have liked to perform with them one more time," Soompi quoted Hangeng as saying.

The former Super Junior added he even flew to Korea to talk to Leeteuk and his former manager to make it possible, but his dream of performing with Super Junior again "did not come true" due to various reasons, which he did not specified.

Hangeng said his intention in performing with the boy group once more was to make the 10th anniversary extra special for the fans who have been supporting Super Junior since day one.

The 32-year-old Chinese singer was part of Super Junior when they debuted in 2005 under SM Entertainment. In 2010, Hangeng filed a lawsuit against their label due to unfair treatment. "I was not able to stand on stage even after debuting," Allkpop quoted the singer as saying.

Hangeng went on, "I could not film commercials and could not participate in certain portions of the schedule. It felt like I had lost all hope," adding that he received $650 for his first year with Super Junior.

The former Super Junior was also disappointed when he became rookie once again when Super Junior-M debuted in his country. Hangeng added it was his dream to be actor, but was denied of the opportunity while his co-members were given acting opportunities.

All these reasons made him decide to leave the group to pursue what he wants in China. Hangeng started taking cameo roles in 2011 before he was given a lead role for "My Kingdom."
