Our two favorite bands are finally back to give us their newest hits. Six-member band INFINITE recently dropped their latest single "The Eye," while SHINee just released their comeback track titled "1 of 1."

Amid their overlapping comeback schedules, fans are eager to know if these boy bands feel any rivalry among them. To explain, INFINITE shared their thoughts about coming back alongside SHINee.

During their guesting on "Kim Shin Young's Hope Song at Noon," members of INFINITE admitted their schedule would overlapped with SHINee's comeback. "Our comeback schedules overlapped. But we're close to SHINee," INFINITE said as per Soompi.

When asked if they feel any competition towards SHINee, the boy group said they were informed about SHINee's planned comeback and album. "Before the comeback, Minho came and talked to us about his album," the INFINITE member added.

Meanwhile, INFINITE's Sungjong gave his message to SHINee during their guesting in the radio program. "Sunbaenim, I'm enjoying your performance. Fighting on your comeback, and I hope we can promote together for a long time," the INFINITE member said.

However, his co-members revealed Sungjong is the least close to SHINee, refusing to give the reasons, Allkpop noted.

INFINITE was formed under Woollim Entertainment in 2010. Their mini-album titled "New Challenge" sold over 160,000 copies in South Korea in 2013. In the same year, the boy group released their first Japanese album and had their first-ever world tour concert.

On the other hand, SHINee debuted under SM Entertainment with a mini-album "Replay" in 2008. Following the success of "Replay," the boy group released their first Korean full-length album called "The SHINee World."

In 2012, SHINee made their debut in Japan by staging a series of concerts in the country. The boy group has released a total of four Japanese studio albums with their latest "DxDxD" launched just this year.
