KPop idols Jisu of the girl group TAHITI and INFINITE member L are set to star together in the upcoming Korea-Japan short drama collaboration project “The Day After We Broke Up”.

According to All KPop, the roles that the stars are about to portray is not too far from reality, as they are going to take the characters of two musicians. In the drama, L will be playing the character of an indie band’s vocalist who keeps on unintentionally travelling through time, while Jisu will be giving life to a woman who is a member of a girl band.

Aside from Jisu and L, actress Yoon So Hee was also confirmed to be part of the series. She will play as the girlfriend of L’s character, Soompi reported.

“The Day After We Broke Up” is a four-episode TV drama series that will be directed by renowned director Song Hyun Wook. It will be aired on KBS 2TV on Oct. 26.

L has recently starred in a 10-episode drama series “The Blue of My Heart” which is also a joint project between Korea, China and Japan. It was broadcasted in MBC Dramanet as well as three other Asian nations.

Born as Kim Myung-soo, L started his entertainment career in 2010 as INFINITE’s vocalist. The following year, he made his TV debut after starring in the TV drama series "Jiu Keishicho Tokushuhan Sousagakari".
