It's been three years since late Paul Walker was seen on the big screen, particularly in "Fast and Furious" movies. Filming for "Fast and Furious 7" proceeded even without him, as the saying goes, "the show must go on." Same thing with Walker, his legacy will go on as his brothers Caleb and Cody consider having Brian O'Conner (Walker's character in the Fast and Furious franchise) to have a cameo in the future.

Caleb said: "I had a phone call with Vin for about an hour and we really discussed this a while back. He wanted [our] blessing." Diesel had asked if and when they thought it "would be acceptable to maybe bring Paul's character back ... to really kind of let his fans know he's still out there."

After Walker's unespected death amid a break from filming "Fast and Furious 7", both director James Wan and Universal Studios need to look for a way to end the film even without Walker. This resulted to resting the character and wrapping up his remaining scenes through computer-generated imagery (CGI) and stand-ins, involving brothers Caleb and Cody. The experience helped them overcome their grievances, Entertainment Weekly reported.

It took several months before the seventh movie's post-production resumed. The movie ended with Brian officially leaving the group to live happily with his family by the beach.

According to Autoblog, it is uncertain if Brian O'Conner will have a cameo in "Fast 8". The movie will feature Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron including a tremendous list of vehicles.

Meanwhile, Vin Diesel revealed that more exciting and heart-pounding movies will be shown in the future. He even announced that "Fast and Furious 9" will be released on April 19, 2019, while "Fast and Furious 10" will be scheduled on April 2, 2021. The movies would be two years apart before its launch.

"Fast 8" will race into theaters on April 14, 2017.
