"Justice League," a super hero movie where Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg team up for the first time next year, will have lot of challenges ahead. Steppenwolf, a minion of Darkseid, will come calling on Earth, presumably with an army of Parademons trailing behind. Reportedly, Suicide Squad's' Joker will not be part of the upcoming movie.

Villain Lex Luthor, who was imprisoned at the end of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," will make a return, causing trouble to the super-heroes of "Justice League." However, fans must not expect The Joker for any kind of appearance although there are many rumors on it.

It all started a few months ago when Jared Leto posted on social media that he was in London where the shooting of "Justice League" was going on. This indicated that the Clown Prince of Crime will make an entry in the super-hero league causing problems. However, The Wrap reporter Umberto Gonzalez took it on Twitter to resolve the rumors.

Here's what he said: "Sorry DC fanboys. Yesterday's rumor that surfaced about Jared Leto being in JUSTICE LEAGUE? Unfortunately, not true. #DEADED"

According to Cinema Blend, Leto's Joker debuted last month in "Suicide Squad," but despite being heavily featured in advertising and marketing, he didn't get that much screen time. Neither Warner Bros nor DC have given any indication when he might return with the version of the super villain The Joker.

Ever since Leto's small role in "Suicide Squad," fans have been wanting to see more of the Joker-act. The next DC movie where a cameo could be possible is "Justice League," but unfortunately, it doesn't sound like that's going to happen.

The cast of the upcoming movie includes Jeremey Irons reprising Alfred Pennyworth, and J.K. Simmons is debuting as Commissioner James Gordon, along with Amy Adams, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe and Julian Lewis Jones.

"Justice League" hit theaters on Nov. 17, 2017.
