Song Hye Kyo revealed to be one of the many actors who would like to work with Gong Yoo!

During a fashion event in Hong Kong, the "Descendants of the Sun" actress was informed that Gong Yoo was also in town to hold his "Make A Wish" fan meeting event.

But to everyone's surprise, Song Hye Kyo admitted that she hasn't met the actor in person despite working in the same industry. She, however, expressed her desire to come across Gong Yoo in the future.

"We've never done production together before and I haven't met him yet, so I don't know him personally," she told the press as per Soompi. "If the opportunity arises, I'd like to try working with him."

Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo are considered as A-listers in the acting industry of Korean entertainment. The actress is notable for her roles in "Autumn in my Heart," "Full House," "All In" and of course blockbuster hit "Descendants of the Sun."

Gong Yoo, on the other hand, is best known for his projects "Coffee Prince," "Silenced," "The Suspect" and "Train to Busan." The actor received much love and attention from foreign fans for his recent drama "Goblin."

Similarly, the 37-year-old celebrity earned the Best Actor for TV award at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards where he turned emotional while delivering his acceptance speech.

"My mother sometimes gets disappointed and tells me that it feels like her son has become someone else's son. It's all because I haven't been good to her," the actor stated.

Aside from Gong Yoo's recognition, "Goblin" unsurprisingly nabbed the Grand Prize for TV given its amass popularity all over the world. The fantasy series, however, failed to get the Best Drama award that was given to tvN's "Dear My Friends."

Meanwhile, Gong Yoo said he would like to play as the bad guy for his next project. Having played several upright characters, the actor has thought of challenging himself by taking a villainous role.
