Hallyu star Park Seo Joon excitedly talked about his latest KBS show “Fight My Way” in an interview.

During the talk, the 28-year-old star revealed some good attributes his character Dong Man possess. He also pointed out the positive implication of the drama series to the youth today.

“Dong Man is a character who does not live at other people’s standards but rather lives by his own values… Even in the ring, he chooses to use standard tactics only because of his truthful and proper mental attitude. He fights his way past difficult obstacles in an optimistic way, which is what drew me to this character,” said Park as quoted by Soompi.

“Through this project, I think we will be able to tell the story of this generation’s youth, as well as how their fight can sometimes transform into different things, like love. I think it will become a drama that viewers can watch comfortably so please support it,” he added.

Directed renowned filmmaker Lee Na Jung, “Fight My Way” unfolds the story of people who are striving hard in order to survive the difficulties of life. Also included in the cast lineup are Hallyu stars Kim Ji Won, Ahn Jae Hong, Song Ha Yoon, Kim Sung Oh, and Choi Woo Shik, Soompi reports.

Park began his entertainment career in 2011 after his appearance in the music video of rapper Bang Yong Guk’s single track "I Remember”. He made his acting debut in the TV drama series “Dream High 2” and rose to fame through his portrayals in “Pots of Gold”, “Witch's Romance”, “She Was Pretty”, and the recently finished “ Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth”.

In 2013, the star received the “Best New Actor” recognition from the 6th Korea Drama Awards for his promising role in “Pots of Gold”. It was followed by the “Popular Star Award”, “Best Male Fashionista in TV”, and “Excellence Award” from the 36th Blue Dragon Film Awards, Fashionista Awards, and MBC Drama Awards respectively.
