‘The Lorax’ and ‘21 Jump Street’ star Rob Riggle to lead in a new comedy TV series; Why would viewers be hooked with this exciting show?

Rob Riggle is set to become the leading actor in a new ABC comedy TV series. He is now laying down roots in this ABC network.

Riggle, according to Deadline, will play as a single father named Josh Keeler who has two young daughters. He is a non-fiction writer.

Keeler, along with his daughters will move to Queens to begin a new life. He will live in an apartment complex and will form an unusual family with the other residents of that apartment building.

Keeler is an oddball but friendly and sociable. He is an intellectual person but emotionally challenged.

Keeler can explain to his neighbor regarding the history of Silk Road whilst they are getting their mail. Keeler seems to know about everything, except that Keeler does not know how to be a dad.

Riggle's new television show is still untitled, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. This multi-camera, single-dad comedy show is written by Dannah Phirman and Danielle Schneider. Phirman and Schneider are the writers of "Telenovela", an American sitcom and the creators of Hulu's "Hotwives" franchise. The executive producers of this new ABC show are Sarah Haskins and Emily Halpern, who are also the creators of "Trophy Wife".

Riggle is a host. He draws sketches for the "NFL" on Fox.

Riggle will also lead for the dramas, "Horse Soldiers" movie and "Midnight Sun" TV series. He will be soon seen in the comedies "How to Be a Latin Lover" and "A Happening of Monumental Proportions".

On the small screen, Riggle is popular for his work on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" and in his role on ABC's "Modern Family". On the silver screen, he is credited for starring in "The Hangover", "22 Jump Street" and "The Other Guys".

Riggle is a 40-year old actor born on April 21, 1970. He hailed from Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.

Riggle is a comedian and a retired United States Marine Corps Reserve officer. He left his military career to pursue acting. In 2000, Riggle has married his wife Tiffany Riggle with whom he has two children.
