Preview

San Antonio is on a three-game winning run right now after losing their two previous games. The team has maintained its second spot in the Western Conference standings, three-and-a-half games behind conference leaders Golden State Warriors and four games ahead of third-running team Houston Rockets.

The Spurs routed the Denver Nuggets, 121-97, in their most recent game on Saturday night at their home floor of AT&T Center, as per SB Nation.

Kawhi Leonard led the team with 19 points, six rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks in an impressive all-around performance as head coach Gregg Popovich notched his 1,128th win in the NBA, which broke former Jazz coach Jerry Sloan's record of most wins for a single franchise.

Tony Parker had 18 points, four assists, and three steals as a starter while LaMarcus Aldridge added 12 points, five boards, two assists, and three blocks.

Off the bench, Manu Ginobili and Jonathon Simmons both fired 18 points as well while Patty Mills netted 10 points in only 16 minutes of play.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies have won four of their last five games to remain in the sixth spot in the West, one game behind fifth-place team Los Angeles Clippers and a half-game ahead of seventh-running squad Oklahoma City Thunder.

Memphis is coming off a 107-99 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on the road at the Target Center last Saturday, USA Today reported.

In a game when head coach David Fizdale rested Marc Gasol, JaMychal Green led the Grizzlies with 29 points on 8-for-11 field goal shooting and six rebounds. Mike Conley had 20 points, three boards, and eight assists while James Ennis added 13 points, six rebounds, and two steals.

Zach Randolph started and grabbed 10 boards with nine points and two assists. Vince Carter and Troy Daniels both came off the bench and scored 11 points each.

Prediction

The Spurs are 20-5 on the road while the Grizzlies are 16-9 at home. It would be a tough game to call as both squads are playing well as of late. However, San Antonio is predicted to prevail in a tightly-contested affair.
