Korean actor Park Ki Woong confirmed to have been offered to join the lineup of "Cheese in the Trap" film as Baek In Ho.

According to Soompi, a source affiliated with the actor's agency shared the matter on Thursday, revealing that Park Ki Woong is considering to take part in the film adaptation of "Cheese in the Trap.

""Cheese in the Trap" is one of the many works that he is considering. He hasn't confirmed his decision yet. We will announce his decision as soon as possible," the source said.

Originally created as webtoon, "Cheese in the Trap" was produced into a drama of the same title starring Park Hae Jin and Kim Go Eun. The 16-episode series aired from Jan. 4 to Mar. 1 last year on tvN.

Many of the fans were quite disappointed with the cliffhanger ending of the drama series. In fact, the adaptation failed to show the conclusion of Yoo Jung and Hong Seol's relationship since the webtoon had not been finished when the filming began.

After the drama wrapped up, Mountain Movement Story announced their decision to bring "Cheese in the Trap" into the big screen. Simultaneously, the production company confirmed Park Hae Jin will reprise his role as Yoo Jung for the film as per Allkpop.

Aside from the actor, Oh Yeon Seo has been confirmed to take the female lead. Mountain Movement Story added the film adaptation of "Cheese in the Trap" will be produced by a Korea-Chinese production team.

Meanwhile, Park Hae Jin admitted he was initially hesitant to play as Yoo Jung again for the movie.

"Despite the risk of being stuck with the same image, among many others, I arrived at this difficult decision due to my affection towards the project and the character," he said.
