Preview

Chicago is in the seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings with an even record at the moment as the team had three wins and three losses in their last six matches.

The Bulls are coming off a 109-94 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday at their home court of United Center to snap a three-game winning run, as per the Chicago Tribune.

Dwyane Wade led head coach Fred Hoiberg's squad with 22 points, four rebounds, six assists, and one block while starting point guard Michael Carter-Williams backed him up with 15 points, one board, and two assists in a losing effort.

Jimmy Butler only had one point on 0-for-6 shooting from the field, playing in 29 minutes, as he is hampered by an illness. He did have two rebounds and seven assists, though, but is questionable in this game versus the Wizards.

Cristiano Felicio and Jerian Grant scored 11 points apiece coming off the bench to lead the second unit. Felicio also grabbed 11 rebounds and had three steals.

Hoiberg has still not utilized Rajon Rondo even though the NBA champion point guard is perfectly healthy. Rondo has not been fielded in since Dec. 30 against Indiana.

Meanwhile, Washington is on a two-game winning run after losing their previous two games. They also have an even win-loss slate and are eighth in the East right now.

The Wizards defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 107-101, on the road at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Sunday night for their second straight win, the Washington Post reported.

Bradley Beal top-scored for the capital city club with 26 points. He also had four rebounds, two assists, and one block. Markieff Morris contributed a double-double with 20 points and 10 boards plus one assist and three steals.

Team leader John Wall had 16 points, three rebounds, seven assists, and one steal while Otto Porter Jr. was the fourth member of the starting unit in double figures with 13 points, seven boards, seven assists, one steal, and two blocks.

However, it was Kelly Oubre Jr. who sparked the Wizards with a 17-point effort off the bench.

Prediction

The Bulls are 7-11 on the road this season while the Wizards are 14-6 at home. A big win for Washington is predicted as Chicago plays without Butler.
