The long wait is almost over for these eight Korean celebrities as they are expected to complete their military duties this year.

Korea Times reported Kim Hyun Joong will be the first one to return from the military sometime in February after he started his duties in May 2015. Reports suggested the singer-actor has an ongoing legal battle against his ex-girlfriend, which he will be facing when he returns from the military.

Meanwhile, Yunho will complete his service in April. The TVXQ will be followed by Super Junior's Eunhyuk and Donghae who will be discharged from the military three months after Yunho.

On the other hand, three celebrities will conclude their mandatory military service in August. These include Changmin of TVXQ, Choi Si Won of Super Junior, and Park Yoo Chun of JYJ.

The last celebrity to be discharged from the military is Lee Seung Gi, who will return in October. While eight celebrities have been confirmed to return from the military this year, there are also idols that we might miss for a while as they are set to be enlisted in 2017.

According to Soompi, BIGBANG's T.O.P is confirmed to start his military duties on Feb. 9. Reports claimed the idol will serve as a conscripted policeman after his four-week training in Nonsan.

After wrapping up their Japan concert tour, the BIGBANG member took to his Instagram account to share a farewell video to his fans. T.O.P bid his goodbye and stated that he will be missing his fans. He also promised to grow maturely while in the military.

Other celebrities who have been reported to enlist this year include 2AM's Im Seulong, who allegedly took the conscripted police examination in November; Kim Junsu, who is also expected to enter the military in February; Beenzino and Joo Won.
