Song Joong Ki seems to be having a lot of fun on the set of his upcoming movie. The actor might be too busy for "Descendants of the Sun 2" but he can definitely make some time for a quick meal with his new co-stars.

On Dec. 16, Lee Jung Hyun took to her Instagram account to share a playful picture of herself with Song as well as other "Battleship Island" actors So Ji Sub and Hwang Jung Min.

"Here are the great actors who are so, very precious to me! Please keep an eye out for 'Battleship Island'~ #Angel Hwang Jung Min #Cool guy So Ji Sub #Joong Ki is the best," she captioned the photo.

The image showed all four of enjoying a meal together at what appears to be a restaurant. While Lee and So smile and pose for the camera sincerely, Song and Hwang strike a funny pose with mouths wide open. Don't miss the mischievous glint in their eyes!

"Battleship Island" is a war movie, and has already been pegged as a blockbuster because of its powerful cast. The film, directed by "Veteran and The Berlin File" director Ryoo Seung Wan, follows the story of the brave Korean fighters who escaped the titular island, where they were forcefully taken as prisoners during the Japanese Invasion, according to Asia One.

Song's fans were delighted to see the actor back on screen as he made a cameo appearance during the Dec. 9 premiere of the KBS TV drama "Sound of Your Heart." The actor is set to make another appearance in the finale episode of the series.

Song plays the role of a successful webtoon author who is also a friend of the show's main character, Jo Seok, played by Song's real-life BFF Lee Kwang Soo, whose character is also a cartoonist by profession.

"Song will play the quintessential handsome and warm-hearted guy," the show's producers were quoted as saying by Yonhap News. "We wanted the scenes where he appears to be remembered by our viewers, so we asked his close friend Lee Kwang-soo to help us cast him." Check out his cameo appearance below:
