DIA's Jung Chae Yeon often shows off her appetite on tvN's reality show, "Eat Sleep Eat." However, she owes her life to an alert flight attendant after she prevented the singer from eating something that is dangerous to the human body.

During the Dec. 13 episode of the show, Jung and SHINee's Onew were on board a flight to Singapore, where they would continue their food adventures. Jung was served some "welcome food" by the flight attendant on the airplane.

Her food tray included cake, juice, and something that looked like a cold dish. Mistaking the cold dish as pudding, Jung was just about to put it in her mouth when the flight attendant stopped her immediately. "No, you're not supposed to eat that," All Kpop quoted the attendant as saying to the K-pop idol.

As it turns out, the cold dish was actually dry ice, which can cause harm to bare skin, mouth, or GI tissue if consumed. Jung then expressed her gratitude to the flight attendant for rushing to her rescue and preventing a big accident from happening.

During an appearance on "Wednesday Food Talk," Jung opened up about being a pro at eating alone. "You're a pro at eating alone with your specialty and hobby being eating by yourself?," All KPop quoted MC Jun Hyun Moo as asking her, to which she replied, "I like beef. I often go eat beef by myself so that's why..."

The host also brought up another rumor that claims Jung can finish up to three servings of beef on her own, to which she retorted, "When I eat a lot." Jung's answer prompted a response from Shin Dong Yup, who said that people who eat quietly but have a huge appetite really scare him.

Jung will soon be seen in an upcoming sci-fi web drama alongside actor Choi Tae Joon. The drama follows the story of a male robot (Played by Choi) from the future who travels back in time and lives with the family of Jung's character, who is a philosophy student.
