After over a decade since their tandem on "My Sassy Girl," Cha Tae Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun shared the small screen for "The Legend of the Blue Sea."

On the Nov. 24 episode of "The Legend of the Blue Sea," Cha made a cameo appearance as a con-artist who tried to trick Jun's character in the drama. The over 4-minute scene was their first reunion on-screen since they starred on 2001 film "My Sassy Girl," Allkpop cited.

After failing to trick Jun on "The Legend of the Blue Sea," Cha blurted out, "You're so aggressive. Not just aggressive, but sassy."

When asked about his reunion with his "My Sassy Girl" co-star, Cha admitted he did not expect he would share the screen with Jun again. "It was strange to think I would be appearing in the same shot as Jun Ji Hyun in 15 years," he said as per Soompi.

Cha went on, "This is the first time I've made such a long [cameo] appearance. I didn't think that I would ever film again with Jun Ji Hyun after "My Sassy Girl.""

Despite the gap after "My Sassy Girl," the actor revealed it was comfortable working with Jun on "The Legend of the Blue Sea."

"It was short, but I had a lot of lines despite it being just a cameo. I was pleased that I could film for a longer amount of time. It wasn't awkward at all," Cha added.

Cha played as Gyeon Woo on "My Sassy Girl," while Jun took the role of the sassy girl. The two characters met at the train station, where Cha found a drunken Jun waiting for the train beyond the safe line.

"My Sassy Girl" became a hit not only in South Korea but also across the Asia, making it the highest grossing Korean movie of all time.
