Despite the brief hiatus after giving birth, Jun Ji Hyun remained to be the queen of advertisement following the success of her previous drama "My Love From The Star."
According to Soompi, figures revealed Jun Ji Hyun dominated the rankings for most advertisements this year, recording a total of 14 commercials which are equivalent to about 14 billion won.
Given the figures, it is likely that "The Legend Of The Blue Sea" star received about 1 billion per commercial. Aside from that, reports claimed Jun Ji Hyun costs around 100 million won per episode of drama series.
Currently, the actress shares the small screen with Lee Min Ho on "The Legend Of The Blue." The mermaid drama is Jun Ji Hyun's first drama series after giving birth to a baby boy on Feb. 10.
Jun Ji Hyun takes the role of Shim Chung/Se Hwa, who is a mermaid from the past and present times. She will meet the character of Lee Min Ho, Heo Joon Jae, who is a con artist.
In the 8th episode of "The Legend Of The Blue Sea," Shim Chung was caught between falling in love with Heo Joon Jae or going back to where she come from. She was even warned by Jo Jung Suk's character not to fall in love with humans, stating that mortals always lie, Allkpop cited.
While viewers are fascinated with the story of "The Legend Of The Blue Sea," some are also wondering how Jun Ji Hyun managed to stay fit even after giving birth. In an interview, Jun Ji Hyun revealed she tries to maintain her perfect body by exercising and staying on diet, considering that she is playing a mermaid role in the drama.
Even her co-star, Lee Min Ho, approved with the statement of the actress and revealed he always see Jun Ji Hyun exercising while there is no filming.
