Daniel Craig reportedly offered $150 million to do two more ‘James Bond’ films

Never say never for Daniel Craig's return as "James Bond" as he is reportedly offered a $150 million paycheck to return for two more instalments.

After the release of "Spectre," there were rumors that Craig is done with the franchise and that the franchise is looking for actors to replace him in the role. However, Sony is allegedly adamant on getting Craig back, offering as much as $150 million to woo the actor for two more films, Radar Online reported. Sony is reportedly planning a back-to-back sequel that is why the offer if for two more films.  

According to Radar's source, Craig reportedly wants to augment his negotiation with the Studio by stating that he does not want to return.

"Everyone knows how much executives adore him, and the idea of losing him at such a crucial time in the franchise isn't an option as far as all the studio honchos are concerned," the source said.

After the release of "Spectre," Craig was not very enthusiastic about his future with the "James Bond" franchise. The outspoken 007 actor went to say that he would rather "slash his wrists" than be in a play secret agent anytime soon. However, the actor also said that he reserves the right to change his mind in the future, Screen Rant reported.

Craig has been the lead star of the "James Bond" franchise in its last five instalments namely "Casino Royale" in 2006, "Quantum Solace" in 2008, "Skyfall" in 2012 and "Spectre" in 2015.

The next film in the "Bond" franchise is titled, "Bond 25." Barbara Broccoli will direct the film.
