Everyone is excited for South Korean actor Lee Jun Ki's portrayal in the upcoming TV drama series "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo." In addition to the thrill, more of the actor's never-before-seen side will be seen as he posed for Marie Claire Korea's September issue.

In the photos released by the magazine in its website and social media pages, Lee exudes his natural enchanting beauty in front of the camera. With different styles of outfits and an overflowing amount of charisma, the actor will surely mesmerize the whole nation.

In one of the shots, the 34-year-old actor gazed the camera in a very inviting manner. On the other hand, the next images displayed Lee’s extremely sexy gestures as he rocked his trendy outfits on.

Meanwhile, Lee is currently busy shooting scenes for his latest project, the historical drama series “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo” which is set to be aired on August 29, All Kpop reported. He plays the character of the Wang So, a mysterious masked prince back in the time of the Goryeo Dynasty, who fell in love with a present day woman who was transported back to his time.

South Korean actress IU will be playing the role of Go Ha Jin / Hae Soo and will serve as Lee’s leading lady. Other cast members of the show include Kang Ha Neul, Yoon Sun Woo, and EXO’s Baekhyun.

To be able to portray his character very well, Lee admitted that he has to make a lot of adjustment, especially in the physical aspect. In an interview, the actor admitted that he had lost 15 kilograms for “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo,” Soompi reported.

“When the director suggested that he wanted my character to seem more sharp and pointed, I decided to lose 15 kilograms. I’m currently maintaining it,” the same publication quoted Lee said as saying.

Lee rose to fame when he played the leading character in the 2005 blockbuster film “The King and the Clown”. He later starred in the top-rated shows like “My Girl,” “Arang and the Magistrate” and Joseon Gunman.
