Good news for BIGBANG fans in Hawaii as the band is confirmed to hold a meet-and-greet with the fans for their upcoming "BIGBANG MADE [V.I.P.] Tour" at Neal Blaisdell Center Arena in Honolulu scheduled on October 22, YG Entertainment announced Friday.

According to Korea Joongang Daily, BIGBANG plans to stage mini shows and games for the meet-and-greet in Hawaii. The upcoming performance in Honolulu will be BIGBANG's first-ever event in Hawaii. Aside from that, they will be the first Korean artists to perform in a big arena in the state.

"There have been some South Korean musicians who did performances in Hawaii, but BIGBANG is the first to perform on a large "arena-scale" stage," an official of YG Entertainment said, as quoted by Korea Times.

Tickets for the "BIGBANG MADE [V.I.P.] Tour" in Hawaii will be made available on August 19 through Ticketmaster. Meanwhile, BIGBANG is celebrating their 10th year since their debut on August 19, 2006.

As part of the commemoration, the five-member band has been holding meet-and-greet events alongside their concert tour. About 110,000 fans attended BIGBANG's meet-and-greet events during their China tour last March, June and July.

Aside from that, BIGBANG also opened an exhibition which will run from August 5 to October 30. The "BIGBANG Exhibition A to Z" features photos, videos and other memorabilia of the band. Members of the band revealed they personally designed the exhibition instead of letting professionals do the work.

BIGBANG had their breakthrough a year after they debuted with the release of their first-ever extended play entitled "Always," which won the Song of the Year award during the 9th Mnet Korean Music Festival.

For the past ten years, BIGBANG has already released three Korean studio albums and five Japanese studio albums. Currently, the band has a series of concerts to hold in Seoul, Macau and Taiwan before their performance in Hawaii.
