Blackjacks react with mixed emotions after photos of 2NE1 member Park Bom circulated online on Aug. 11. A Chinese fan spotted the Korean singer dining at a restaurant accompanied by a man who seems to be in his 40s.
Although many of Bom's fans are happy to know on her whereabouts, some of them expressed their concern about the singer who has tape on her ears, while others are wondering whether the 2NE1 member has gone through another cosmetic surgery, Allkpop reported.
Bom made her debut as the main vocalist of 2NE1 in 2009. Other members of the South Korean girl group include Sandara Park, CL and Minzy; however, Minzy decided to leave 2NE1 to pursue a solo career in April.
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old singer has also released a couple of solo singles aside from performing with the girl group. Her songs "You and I" and "Don't Cry" both topped the Gaon Digital Chart, while the former was awarded with the Best Digital Single award during the 2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
Bom had to go through tough times before she was accepted to join YG Entertainment after three years of auditioning. Before 2NE1 was formed, Bom was featured on Big Bang's songs "We Belong Together" and "Forever With You." She has also collaborated with idols Lexy and Red Roc.
Aside from that, she also endorses a number of brands including a clothing line based in the Philippines. Bom was even spotted in the country last April with co-member Dara for a series of promotions, Soompi reported. In 2010, the 2NE1 member was put into hot water after she allegedly smuggled drugs in South Korea. Bom clarified the allegations and was not charged and prosecuted.
