Hong Kong superstar, singer, and producer Andy Lau has no plans of retiring yet. The actor, however, is expected to slow down with his career when he announced his marriage to his wife, Malaysian-Chinese Carol Chu and birth of his only daughter Hanna last May 2012.

"Us with Fat Gor, we would always wonder why foreigners could act until they're 60 or 80 [years old], but while we have to retire," Andy said as posted in Jayne Starz. "We would always get questions asking us why we haven't retired yet, but foreigners never encounter these questions in interviews."

Andy Lau started his career in the industry late 80's and known as the "Heavenly King". Lau had gained lots of awards with his acting and singing career. He also entered the Guinness World Records for "Most Awards Won by a Canto-pop Male Artist."

"I have never received any complaints before," he said. He also said to have balanced his family life and work, according to Yahoo Entertainment.

At age 54, all that matters to him is his heart with his family. He found the perfect balance with work and family between being a husband and father despite his busy schedule with his career.

The actor entered the music industry in 1985 with his first album "Only Know I Still Love You" under Capital Artists. He also sang in the Paralympics opening in September 2008 with the song "Flying With Dream."

Recently, he filmed a movie together with Chow Yun Fat entitled "From Vegas to Macau III Fat," an action-packed film for Hong Kong Lunar New Year and which confirms that he is not retiring anytime soon.
