On Conan O’Brien’s talk show, Mila Kunis revealed that her wedding ring was bought very cheaply. She and husband Ashton Kutcher bought their wedding rings for just $190 on Etsy. Talk show host O’Brien took noticed Kunis' wedding ring when she was toying with it.
Kunis explained that her wedding ring was a simple, thin, and neat looking platinum band with a round diamond. That simplicity and frugality for a celebrity was a far cry from the expensive and intricately designed wedding rings usually bought by the rich and famous.
According to a source from E! Online, Kunis went on explaining how and where she found the wedding ring. "I can't believe that I'm telling anybody this story. So, my husband and I got married a little while ago. He got me a beautiful engagement ring. Like, stunning, stunning, stunning! But for our wedding band, I wanted something just super thin, and dainty, and was surprised at how costly the prices were, so I decided to just get them off of Etsy,” Kunis told O’Brien.
O’Brien was quite surprised with this revelation from Kunis, wherein he praised her for being practical. Kunis further explained that her husband’s wedding ring was bought for $100 while hers was only $90, a reporter from Huffington Post revealed.
When O’Brien asked Kunis why she chose to purchase such an inexpensive ring, she merely said that she would rather spend the money on more important matters, and that her relationship with her husband was the most valuable possession she has.
Kunis dropped by O’ Brien’s talk show to promote her latest comedy movie “Bad Moms.” She stars with Christina Applegate, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Annie Mumolo and Jada Pinkett Smith. It is a film about how mothers sacrifice for their families which is portrayed in a funny way.
