After Vic Chou surprised everyone with his wedding announcement to Reen Yu, the actor surprised his fans again by announcing that he will not be inviting his close friends that include his F4 gang, ex-girlfriend Barbie Hsu and recent leading lady, Ariel Lin. The newly engaged couple plans to have an intimate wedding that will only include their families.
Although there is no announcement yet on the exact date of the wedding, but the couple is mostly excited about their wedding plans. Vic and Reen have been dating for four years, but nobody saw their engagement plans coming since most of those who are close to them did not see any indication that a proposal will happen.
"Although I am an artist, I don't need a royal kind of wedding. It's good enough to just register for our marriage privately," Reen said regarding his wedding plans. "There has always been wedding plan, but I'm not certain when that day will be. I also hope for it to come soon!"
Since the event will become low profile and simple, Vic's friends just could not help but to congratulate their friend and his plans to settle down. F4 members immediately sent their congratulations. "I am really happy for them," Jerry Yan said.
"I am very happy and send them my blessings," Ken Chu said. "If he invites me to his wedding banquet, I will be there."
Although Vic will not invite any friends from showbiz that includes his F4 friends, he said that he intends to invite them at his bachelor party, according to Lollipop.
Ariel Lin, on the other hand, did not have any idea that Vic and Reen are soon to get married and she only found out about their engagement through media reports, according to MSN. The two stars are currently promoting their latest movie "Go Lala Go."
Barbie Chu also extended her regards to the couple and gave her blessing by saying that she expects the couple to have a baby soon, Asian Pop News reported. She is also happy for Vic and Reen.
