Netflix series "Sense8" Season 2 is confirmed to commence filming, but its official release date has not been announced yet. The upcoming season is said to be more exciting, as it will reveal more back story and give audience a better understanding of the characters. The characters will be showcasing new abilities as they account their battle against Whispers played by Terrence Mann, the villain in Season 1. A new baddie is also said to emerge.
The casts for the show are currently in different countries shooting for their role. Those who have watched the show know that the characters come from different places across the globe and communicate with each other through mental telepathy. This is the reason why it was important for the production team to retain that emphasis in "Sense8" Season 2 and focus on where each character is situated.
The previous season has placed much emphasis on each character's mental capabilities and how they share experiences through telepathy. But in "Sense8" Season 2, Day Herald reported that the story will reveal more of each character's individual abilities and how they have powers that are distinct to them being Sensates as a whole.
Meanwhile, aside from having to deal with Wisphers again, the team will be facing more threat in "Sense8" Season 2. The Gulf News reveals that actor Sikhander Kher, known for his role in the TV series 24, will be joining Netflix's series. He did not reveal much information about his character and only mentioned that he was going to play one of the big villains in the show.
