Talks about a sequel for "Line Walker" has been circulating for months now and fans will be delighted to know that a movie version for the series is on the works and principal photography will start in December. Production for "Line Walker 2" is also expected to start soon.

During the 2016 TVB Sales Presentation, actress Charmaine Sheh revealed that the overwhelming positive response the TV series received from viewers will result for the upcoming sequel and movie production. However, fans may expect some changes in the main actors lineup for both the movie and the sequel.

TVB is still discussing upcoming collaboration with the original cast members Michael Miu, Sharmaine Sheh, Benz Hui, Elena Kong and Sharon Chan. Raymond Lam, who is part of the original cast of the television drama, will not join the film as he wants to focus on his music career, Drama Asian reported.

"There has been talks to do a Line Walker movie since as early as a year ago," Lam said. "But I turned it down. It's because those who like to watch the television drama would prefer to spend more time to watch the story unfold in every episode. In a movie, everything ends in two hours."

He also admitted that there is a slim chance of him to join the "Line Walker 2" since he will be busy with his music until next year. He will still do movies, but not with TVB.

Michael Miu, on the other hand, took a short break from Line Walker, according to Jane Stars. He also admitted that he did not know about the talks TVB's plans in making a film or a sequel for "Line Walker."

"I really don't know or have any details about the plans," Miu said while laughing. He admitted, however, that he is excited to collaborate with the Five Tigers that includes Kent Tong, Andy Lau, Felix Wong, Tony Leung and himself since there is a chance that they may be reunited again.

"I look forward to it," Miu said. "Regardless whether it is a series or a movie, collaborating with the Five Tigers again is a happy occasion. I really hope for it."
