The song Cheer Up by TWICE continues to dominate the Korean music hit chart this year. It has been on the number 1 spot for four weeks now.

The members of TWICE first met during a reality TV talent show entitled named "Sixteen," which was hosted by JYP with the aim of recruiting girls to form a new group. TWICE has amassed about 14,000 followers on Instagram to date.

They released their 2nd studio album Page Two on April 25. The girls are also taking part in different television shows such as Please Take Care of My Refrigerator and The Running Man.

Soompi reported that the music video of Cheer Up was also the number one choice on top 10 most viewed k-pop music videos this year. It managed to exceed 50 million views on Youtube. Ahead of the release of Cheer Up, TWICE fueled the anticipation of its fans by uploading a number of video teasers on the official Twitter account of JYP Nation.

Given that the music video was only released in April, the number of views is considered to be a record.

TWICE made a mark in the K-pop industry since they released their first official single Like Ooh-aah in 2015. It amassed a record of 7 million views in just a span of eight months.

TWICE's second mini-album Page Two is currently on a limited edition sale and is available via Yes Asia. It comes with a free poster.
