Singer Rihanna left fans worried after breaking down into tears during her show at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, as part of her ANTI world tour.
The 28-year-old singer reportedly became emotional while singing her 2010 hit with Eminem Love the Way You Lie, leading fans to take to social media to determine what is wrong.
Despite the fact that emotions overcame her, the Barbadian singer continued singing without missing a note.
"Why was Rihanna crying today at her concert?" one concerned fan questioned on Twitter, according to Business Standard. "I've never seen Rihanna cry. Why is she crying?" another user asked.
The singer reportedly started the show 30 minutes late. She was supposed to arrive at 8:45 p.m. but only appeared at 9:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, after shedding some tears, she immediately composed herself, wiped her eyes, and continued to sing.
When she spoke to the audience for the first time, Rihanna complimented them for their singing, Sunday World reported.
"I only have ever in my life heard an audience of people scream so loud that they sound like one voice and that only happens in Ireland, in Dublin. Thank you."
Although the singer took to Instagram to express her appreciation for her fans, she refused to explain the sudden burst of tears during the concert.
"What a night! Such an emotional show for me! I feel so lucky to have a team like the Navy man! I'm blessed! No matter what I'm on you always snatch me out of it! I am so grateful to have you all," she wrote.
RiRi's next leg of her tour will be this coming Friday, June 24 at London's Wembley Stadium, according to Billboard.
