Park Yoo Chun is free of rape charges after his alleged victim formally dropped her complaint on Wednesday, June 15, according to authorities.

The  woman, who was only identified as Lee, is said to have suddenly gone back on her sworn statements and dropped the accusations. She also refuted her claims, stating that she was not coerced by anyone, according to Yibada.

Lee's boyfriend has admitted that he filed the case out of anger as he was so furious about the "accident," which allegedly took place while his girlfriend was drunk. Lee's boyfriend further explained that he was mistaken to have immediately filed the case and not checking the entire situation first.

He revealed that the case was filed privately, but media got hold of the story, thus making the situation uncontrollable. Lee is said to be in a state of shock following a tremendous amount of threats she has received online from Park's supporters.

Lee's boyfriend filed a complaint against Park Yoo Chun on June 10 at the Gangnam Police Station for alleged sexual assault. In his statement, he said the celebrity raped his 24-year old girlfriend in the bathroom of an adult entertainment establishment, where Lee was working as a waitress.

"On the night of the 3rd, Yoochun came to the establishment as a customer and she was forcefully raped in a bathroom at the store," Lee's boyfriend said.

Lee admitted that she decided to report the incident because she felt uneasy when Yoochun and his friends belittled her after the sexual encounter.

Although Lee renounced the case by confessing that the sexual encounter was consensual, the Youth and Women's desk is reportedly still yet to decide whether or not to continue with the investigation. The case has allegedly been put on hold.
