Park Hae Jin and Oh Yeon Seo have been chosen as leads for the movie version of web-based drama hit "Cheese In the Trap." The two actors have already reported to work last week so filming is already ongoing
According to Allkpop, the spokesperson for "Cheese In the Trap" relayed to the media that both Hae Jin and Yeon Seo have participated in the first filming day on April 20. It was added that shooting only took place around Seoul.
Photos of the filming have also emerged online and the two lead stars are obviously happy on the set and filming well. An observer even commented that the actors showed great chemistry so they were able to seamlessly capture the heart and soul of their characters.
Park Hae Jin starred in the original webtoon version of the drama so he is actually just reprising his role as Yoo Jung. On the other hand, Oh Yeon Seo is taking the role of Hong Seol, a character originally played by Kim Go Eun.
Actor Seo Kang Jun played as Beak In Ho, the third party involved in a love triangle with the main characters, but who will take his role in the movie was not revealed yet. Other cast members for "Cheese in the Trap" the movie include Sandara Park, Park Ki Woong, Yoo In Young and Na Hye Mi.
"Cheese in the Trap" the movie will depict the love story between Hong Seol and Yoo Jung. The former is a smart and hardworking college student who returned to school after a long break while the latter is her her senior who is known as the campus' Mr. Perfect.
Meanwhile, the said film's cast and crew were reported to have adjusted their filming schedule so they can vote in the upcoming presidential election in South Korea. Star News reported that since the filming coincides with the May 9 elections, the artists and production staff of "Cheese in the Trap" decided to vote together in advance.
They will head to Gangwon Province on May 4 to cast their votes. Citizens who cannot make it on the election day are given a special 2-day schedule so they can meet their civic responsibility. For this election, the advance voting has been scheduled from May 4 to 6.
