NBA Trade Rumors: Bulls keeps Jimmy Butler in Chicago; Breaking trade speculation

Chicago Bulls keeps Jimmy Butler and breaking all speculations about the trade of the most important player at the United Center. He is the player with the strong work ethics that is needed by the team.

Chicago Bulls executive vice president John Paxson in a meeting with Butler last week assured him that the management would continue to build the team around him, Chicago Tribune reported. Paxson, who played alongside Michael Jordan to win the three NBA championship in the 90’s understand the importance of star player like Butler for the team.

Right now, Chicago Bulls has the solid team surrounding Butler with Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo and Robin Lopez. Bulls is now ranked 7th in the Eastern Conference and the players need to reshape the focus in the playoffs in the next two months.

Butler’s commitment to Bulls is second to none. Since he was drafted as the 30th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, he continued to show impressive play game after game and exhibits his strong commitment. He was also the one who invited Wade to join him in Chicago after Derrick Rose left in the off-season.

Recently, the fans sounded objection for Anthony Morrow to wear the No. 1 jersey. Morrow was the newly acquired player from Oklahoma City Thunder along with Joffrey Lauvergne and Cameron Payne for Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott and second-round draft pick. The fans protested his choice to wear No.1 jersey which was previously worn by Rose.

Fans were angry to see Morrow took the No. 1 jersey and Morrow must apologize for his mistake. He is now wearing the No. 11 jersey.

In respond to the controversy, according to Chicago Sun Times, there is only one player who deserves to wear the No. 1 jersey. That player is Jimmy Butler.
