NBA All-Star Weekend 2017: Westbrook and Durant play awkwardly very well in the NBA All-Star

Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook was selected as the member of the Western Conference team in the NBA All-Star 2017. However, the feud between them can be seen as they avoided each other in the practice session. However, that changed during the game as they play together quite well.

Despite their feud, Westbrook and Durant provided an entertaining game on Sunday night as the West won 192-182 as reported by CBS Sports. In the first quarter Durant provided an alley-oop pass to Westbrook, and his former team mate continued with a dunk.

The 2017 NBA All-Star Game provided an entertaining game with a lot of great play from the team. Moreover, the score was unbelievable as the star players from each West and East delivered their best game and had fun on court.

New Orleans Pelicans center Anthony Davis led the scoring with 52 points, and broke the Wilt Chamberlain’s record the All-Star Game. He won the MVP in the 66th NBA All-Star Game held at Smoothie King Center, the Pelicans home stadium.

The MVP is very phenomenal because Davis broke the record that has never been broken for more than 50 years. Chamberlain posted 42 points in 1962 NBA All-Star Game. While Westbrook scored 41 points just behind Davis and he delivered a very good game.

Prior to the game, Both Westbrook and Durant acted awkwardly to each other. Especially in the training session when they tried to avoid each other. According to SB Nation, they did not acknowledge e another.

However, in the game time, they set aside the differences and bitterness to give fans the great performance. Durant’s lob to Westbrook showed how professional both of them are. When reporters asked Westbrook in the post-game interview regarding the mend of friendship between them with the alley-oop pass, he skillfully dodged the question and laughed.
