Niantic Labs has just released the new "Pokemon GO" update that features massive updates and improvements to the game. The new "Pokemon GO" update was officially announced last week, which was originally announced to launch within the last week of February.

The new" Pokemon GO" update has just been released today, this latest update is focused on second generation Pokemons along with the massive 80+ new creatures. These new second generation creatures are confirmed to come from the Gold and Silver versions of the game, GameSpot reported. The latest evolutions are now available, especially with the existing Pokemons, players now need to follow a certain technique.

Good news for the existing fans and players who stick with the game, "Pokemon GO" will now allow the players to evolve their Eevee to its second generation form, the Umbreon and Espeon, but with the use of a special trick. The "Pokemon GO" Metal Coat is required for some Pokemons to evolve and players need change or replace their monster names during the process of evolution. It is now an improved process where previously, players can only change their monster name using the first three generations.

Apart from Eevee, there are several "Pokemon GO" monsters that can be evolved now. Chansey evolves to Blissey, Onix into Steelix, Slowpoke into Slowking, Porygon into Porygon 2 and Zubat into Crobat just to name a few.

The new "Pokemon GO" update also changed the difficulty of catching monsters, which means that is now harder to catch more elusive monsters compared to the previous version. The new "Pokemon GO" update changed the reactions of several Pokemons around the game, which differs when it comes to their first encounter with an additional item carousel on the encounter screen.

Aside from these changes, the new "Pokemon GO" update also delivers some new features to the game. Pokemons will now have gender-specific variations for various monsters, new night-mode maps, new music and additional candles for catching evolved monsters. The "Pokemon GO" update has also improved the Apple Watch connection and released some bug fixes and improvements to the game.
