Ben Simmons' NBA debut this season seems to be far from reality as the Philadelphia 76ers coaching and managing staff announced they plan. The Sixers won't be playing Simmons until next year as they will not going to let him play on 5-on-5 this All-Star break.

The CSN Philly reported that the Sixers doesn't have plans to let Simmons play this season. Sixers coach Brett Brown said in an interview that it is a misleading if the team would say that Simmons is now ready for a 5-on-5 during the All-Star break.

Brown also confirmed that Simmons is now moving forward as he understands the process and how the management handles the situation. The Sixers are just getting cautious on their first overall pick and their future star forward, making it sure that Simmons will be fully 100 percent ready before they let him play.

In a report held by the Liberty Ballers, after the All-Star break, the Sixers will be playing their remaining 26 games, most of it will be road games. During the past couple of road games, Simmons was not with the team as they give him a lot of time to workout and rest.

Ben Simmons went to a surgery to repair his Jones fracture in his right foot during a scrimmage last summer. Since then, the Australian prodigy, Ben Simmons has been on the sideline and has been practicing alone at the gym as he continue his recovery process.

The Sixers have been playing well this season as their 2014 first-round overall pick Joel Embiid carries the team to an improved team standing. Though playing on a limited minutes, Joel Embiid managed to provide massive contribution to the Sixers. Embiid is still on his recovery process, the reason why the Sixers are giving him limited minutes this season.

The two future stars of the Sixers, Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid are expected to play together next season. The Sixers waited for several years, tanking with lots of patience as they are now starting to see a bright future ahead with their young core players along with the Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, with the hopes that they will stand and rise again.
