Actor Shia LaBeouf is disappointed after the Museum of the Moving Image in New York shuts down his anti-Trump art. The reason they gave was that it was causing harm than peace to everyone in the area.
According to USA Today, the museum called the actor's art and campaign "volatile." This is why they felt the need to shut it down. Labeouf not only did it with his art on a wall, but he even put on a livestream online show for the world to witness his protest.
Lots of people have participated in the venue, which eventually made the vicinity unsafe. The museum posted on the website a statement saying LaBeouf's campaign is a serious public safety hazard for everyone in the area particularly in Queens, New York.
They noticed that since the "He Will Not Divide Us" exhibit, lots of violence and arrests occurred that cops needed to be in the area 24/7. The New York Post also reported this, saying that "The Transformers" actor started it on a good note and with very good intention.
Unfortunately, it just became an act of violence as it goes on. The museum couldn't tolerate it anymore, which is why his art needed to go down. LaBeouf tweeted, "The museum has abandoned us," with a hashtag of the art, HEWILLNOTDIVIDE US, after finding out about the museum's decision. This is a project the actor has along with Ronko & Turner, the people behind the digital art.

Some considered this campaign successful enough that it lasted longer than they expected. It started on Jan. 20 during Pres. Trump's inauguration and it just reached its end last Wednesday. LaBeouf is planning on a 4-year-long protest, so it would appear that this is not the end of his campaign against Donald Trump.
