The next "Green Lantern" movie is set for release on 2020 and it is going to be called, "Green Lantern Corps." This time, the character of Guy Gardner just might appear in this sequel and a lot of people are wondering who would play this role.
According to Screen Rant, they have a list of actors that could possibly take the role of Guy Gardner based on their looks and other characteristics. The creation of his character turned out to be this typical red-blooded white male, which even made him known as the Red Lantern. In fact, that is even one of his aliases.
In the story, he looks extremely buff and he has got the image of someone you don't want to mess with. On that note, Bradly Cooper is among the actors that were seen to have a potential to nail this part. His very red-blooded American persona would work and his perfectly shaped gym body couldn't be more fitting to play this role. Cooper has a unique sense of humor that he could incorporate in being Guy Gardner.
Meanwhile, Heroic Hollywood threw in their suggestion of having Sean William Scott as Guy Gardner. This particular lantern also has quite an obnoxious reputation. He could also extremely sarcastic, which is Sean William Scott could easily play this character.
The publication even pointed that Scott seems to have been using this hero's character in almost all of his acting gigs, so might as well be him in his project. There is a little chance that the studio would include Guy Gardner in the 2020 film because they are too focused on Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner. However, it is not impossible that fans would see him next time because the movie industry could also be very unpredictable.
But amongst all these intriguing possibilities of who is going to play Guy Gardner on the next Green Lantern film, the question remains as to who could Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner. Especially, when there are reports saying Ryan Reynolds might not rephrase his character in the film.
