South Korean boy group Block B will surely make their fans’ knees weak again as they display their adorable and playful sides in the music video of their latest single “Yesterday”.
The music video, which was released on the group’s official YouTube page CJENMMUSIC on February 5, opened with the Park Kyung's raspy voice and cool gestures. His fellow group members later appeared after his introduction, showing off their playful and crazy gestures.
"Yesterday", written by Park himself, tells a man's resentments on his girlfriend's actions and excuses which seemed to be doubtful and misleading to his sight. Furthermore, the song's theme was inspired by the popular American TV sitcom "Friends", Soompi reported.
The alternative funk style song currently seats on the top spot of different music charts including the Melon, Mnet, Naver, Monkey3, Bugz, and Olleh. T o show their appreciation, the group members expressed their gratitude to their supporters on their individual social media pages.
“Thank you so, so much for giving us such an amazing result on ‘Yesterday,’ the song that I produced. While I was working on it, I was feeling a lot of pressure and was very worried but… I’ll make more good music for you in the future too. Thank you,” Park wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
On the other hand, member B-Bomb also told Sports Chosun as quoted by Soompi: “I couldn’t even have dreamt it, but I’m so happy because we’re at No. 1. The members are all happy because we’ve reached No. 1 after making a comeback for the first time in a long time as a full group.”
Block B made their debut in the music industry in 2011. The band is made up of 7 members namely Tae-il, B-Bomb, Jae Hyo, U-Kwon, Park Kyung, P.O., and Zico.
