The movie franchise "Alien" was pioneered by Ridley Scott but James Cameron's version that were created as sequels seem to be the fans' favorite. The director of "Avatar" has something negative to say about the movie that it went viral last week.

According to Cinema Blend, although the first release of the original was successful, the sequel has struggled so much over the years. It didn't do well with their sales, especially after the release of parts 3 and 4. Everybody could also assume that its prequel, "Prometheus," was not so good either since it got mixed reviews.

Ridley Scott is a well-respected director who loves to take a risk with his project. The perfect example was him releasing, "Alien: Covenant." Critics said that it was a bold move that he did that because it sort mark the making and the breaking of the franchise.

James Cameron was interviewed by Vulture and he was not afraid to voice out what he thought about the Alien franchise. He basically said it is over for the sequels, as its original fans have already moved on. At this point, it has come to an end and it was just a good thing to remember how Scott marked an era in the film industry, specifically in the genre of science fiction.

The "Titanic" director only has good words about Ridley Scott and that he even directed his own version of Alien to honor the masterpiece that Scott first released. It is just that right now, it is no longer a good idea to create remakes of "Alien."

Cameron has a lot on his plate these days that there is no chance he would even plan on making a new "Alien" movie. He has all the 5 sequels of "Avatar" coming really soon, as he and his crew starts filming on summer of this year.
