IHae-Jin Park is one of the busiest Korean celebrities these days. The "Cheese in the Trap" actor has become a big sensation in Asia following the success of the South Korean TV drama series that also stars highly sought-after actress Go-Eun Kim.

The South Korean entertainment network, tvN's drama "Cheese in the Trap" will be aired in China and Japan in March, KPop Herald reported.

"Cheese in the Trap" is based on the animated cartoon on the web with the same name. The Korean drama is set in a college campus, with Park and Kim playing an unlikely yet cute couple.

Kim plays the hardworking student who hails from a poor family, Hong Seol, while Park is her handsome and kind-hearted senior Yoo Jung, who has a dark side.

Beyond the engrossing storyline and good chemistry of the "Cheese in the Trap" lead stars, the actors' professionalism also shines through. Both Park and Kim are known to have the desire to grow as actors.

Kim refuses to be typecast in certain roles. Entertainment industry insiders have also seen how she prepares for projects. For "Cheese in the Trap," she braced herself for the worst possible scenarios pertaining to how people would see how she tackled her role.

Kim's first film project was "A Muse" which was based on the novel "Eun-gyo" by celebrated author Park Bum-shin. She was recognized by various award-giving bodies as Best New Actress for her portrayal of a high school student who captures the heart of a 70-year-old poet.

She has also shown her acting mettle in other genres. Kim went on to appear in the thrillers "Coin Locker Girl" and "Monster."

On the other hand, Park has earned recognition for his acting in shows like "My Love From the Star" and "Bad Boys" where he plays a math prodigy with a psychopathic streak.

When not busy with Korean TV dramas and fan meetings in Korea, Japan, and China, Park fulfills commitments with numerous brands he has inked deals with. The actor's endorsement deals have upped his income to around 11 billion won or $9.2 million, The Korea Herald reported.
