The highly-anticipated anime film, "Genocidal Organ," has just released a new theatrical trailer on Jan. 20. Fans are able to get a glimpse of the characters and the storyline of this anime film.

In an article published by Crunchy Roll, "Genocidal Organ" started as a sci-fi novel written by Project Itoh, which is now about to become a hit anime movie. Fans of the story have always dreamed of it being a movie and it is finally happening. The main characters are introduced in the trailer, as well as the many violent scenes that viewers should be ready of.

According to Anime News Network, the plot of the film coincides with the novel, which is very futuristic. The setting involves a world that suffers from oppression coming from cops who are all up in everyone's business. It is also a time when terrorism has been redefined with everybody being under surveillance and citizens of developed countries are being murdered on a daily basis. Hence, the title and the genocidal theme of the trailer.

The main villain of this movie is John Paul, who is the terrorist that Clavis Shepherd, a detective, and intelligence agent, is after for. The chase is going to be epic based on the trailer because John Paul is such a mysterious character. It is almost like "Catch Me If You Can" without the fraud angle and only with a lot of explosions and massacres going on.

This anime film is helmed by Shukō Murase starring Yūichi Nakamura as agent Clavis Shepherd and Takahiro Sakurai as John Paul. This is going to be under the production of Geno Studio when originally Manglobe studio was supposed to handle it. Unfortunately, the latter filed for bankruptcy about two years ago. Catch the official release date of "Genocidal Organ" on Feb. 3 in Japan.
