'The Legend of the Blue Sea’ star Lee Min Ho sold out tickets for upcoming fan meeting event

Lee Min Ho once again proved his popularity when his meet-and-greet tickets sold out instantly. The Hallyu star is currently starring in the ongoing hit drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea."

As revealed by his label, MYM Entertainment, tickets for his upcoming meet-and-greet event "The Originality of Lee Min Ho" sold out in just a matter of seconds after the ticket sales went online. The tickets started selling online last Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. through the e-commerce website "Auction."

Taking place on Feb. 18-19, the fan meeting event marks the beginning of Lee's multi-nation fan meeting tour. The event will be held at Kyunghee Unversity in eastern Seoul.

"Lee, known to have a deep affection towards his fans, will spice up the event showing a side of him that hasn't been revealed yet," MYM Entertainment revealed. "In the midst of his busy schedule, Lee takes time to participate in the preparation process as he is very excited for the impending event," Yonhap reported.

In 2016, Lee held his "Talk Concert" in the same venue which sold out a whopping 3,000 tickets in a blink of an eye. Two days after his Seoul's "Talk Concert," the Hallyu star opened his first "talk concerts" in Yokohama, Japan.

Lee, 29, sang live and had a heartfelt conversations with his 10,000 fans during the two concerts called "MINOZ MANSION." It is said that Lee chose the open talk concerts in order to interact directly with his fans, as reported by Soompi.

Currently, Lee stars as a genius conman in the SBS drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea" alongside with Jun Ji Hyun as the last mermaid on earth. The actor first gained widespread popularity in his role as Gu Jun Pyu in the 2009 drama "Boys Over Flowers," and continued to surge after his roles in "City Huner (2011)" and "The Heirs (2013)."
