Once the holiday season is over, there is no doubt that people's wallets have taken the brunt of being empty. But for gamers, the gift-giving is not yet over. For those who are not yet decided on what title to buy at the moment, these free PlayStation 4 titles would definitely make the wait - and the gameplay - worth it.

'Paragon'

According to SegmentNext, "Paragon" is the best choice for players who are really looking for a "gem" of a free title to play on PS4. "Paragon" is like "Overwatch" with its characters and multiplayer modes and it looks like "SMITE" too but with a lot of better visuals. In short, players who enjoy online battle arenas with hectic fights and pretty cool animations will find "Paragon" a free PlayStation 4 title worth keeping for a long time.

'Blacklight: Retribution'

"Blacklight: Retribution" is a lot like the popular multiplayer game "Call of Duty" with its major game modes. What makes this game quite unique is the HRV mechanic that tells and shows player's enemy locations on the weak as well as their weak points. Players should avoid making bad loadout choices or else they will be signing their death sentence into the game.

'Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters'

"Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" is a 3D fighter game that provides a beta-like version to interested players: "Core Fighters." So instead of the full game, players who get to play the free version have four characters to play and every game mode available to train. Players who find the game more than interesting can move on to the game by purchasing more features and extra characters.

'Hustle Kings'

Before, "Hustle Kings" is just exclusive on PS3. But the title being available on PS4 is even better because it comes for free. Of all the games mentioned here, GamesRadar+ considers this title to have no "video-gamey frills." There are no special tricks or powershot to play "Hustle Kings," which is a straightforward game of pool anyway. The free version lets players play with other players online in an 8-ball game.

 'Trove'

"Trove" is the perfect game for those who wish to play a game that is a lot like "Minecraft." The only difference? There are customizable gears that players can use and plenty of dungeon quests to finish. The cube-ish world of "Trove" will also bring players to enjoy weird classes with even weird names like the plant-controlling mage Chloromancer and the self-explanatory Neon Ninja.

'Warframe'

"Warframe" is one of those games that feels similar to "Battlefield," "Call of Duty" and "Killzone." The kicker is that it is more adventurous and is set in a futuristic world. Players who have tried it before is likely to still be playing the game with its Tenno warriors. Besides, "Warframe" has a very addicting gameplay where players play in groups and fight off alien scourge - all for free.
