EXO D.O turns 24! And his fans took to Twitter the celebration.
Born on Jan. 12, 1993, the enchanting and very talented idol turns 24 this year. And to commemorate his special day, fans are celebrating it with the hash tag "HappyKyungsooDay," which is trending worldwide, Allkpop reported.
One of the fans even Tweeted, "It's Kyungsoo's birthday! Here's a vine of him saying 'squishy' and making my heart explode #HappyKyungsooDay." While another fan expressed his greeting through some word of encouragement and wishing D.O a great day ahead.
Meanwhile, his upcoming film "Room Number 7" alongside with actor Shin Ha Kyun has confirmed its cast and has started filming last week. The upcoming film revolves around a DVD room called "Room Number 7" and the secrets that the owner and employees hide from one another, Soompi revealed.
Shin is playing the role of the DVD owner, Doo Shik, while D.O plays the role of Tae Jung - a college employee trying to pay off his debt. Also starring in the film are actors Kim Dong Young, Kim Jong Soo, Kim Jong Gu, Park Soo Young, and many more.
Last Dec. 22, cast and crew of the film organized its first script reading meet up. Almost all of the actors were on characters and had already made the expectation high for its premiere.
"Room Number 7" is directed by director Lee Yong Seung, whose first film "10 Minutes" gained awards from sixteen international film festivals including the "Berlin International Film Festival." The film marks the director's second film, which is building anticipation due to its great cast and detailed storyline.
Do Kyung-soo, better known by his stage name D.O, is a South Korean actor and singer and one of the main vocalists of the South Korean-Chinese group EXO. The now 24-year old actor was born in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province of South Korea.
Following his win at a local singing contest, D.O was advised to audition at SM Entertainment. Subsequently, during his last two years in high school, he became a trainee of the said label.
