"Kung Fu Panda" actor Jack Black just finished filming a special episode "Infinite Challenge." The Hollywood actor will be guest starring on the episode of Korean reality variety show slated to air this week. Recently, in an interview, showrunner Kim Tae Ho talked about the Hollywood actor's appearance.

During his tour Asia tour for the promotion of his recent movie "Kung Fu Panda 3," Black stopped at the South Korea. Here, he not only promoted his movie, he even shot a Jack Black special episode for MBC's "Infinite Challenge."

The actor, who is best known for his work in a comedy film "School of Rock" will reportedly enrol in a "school" to master Korean variety, according to Kim. The actor will perform some absurd or hard-to-complete challenges.

"Jack Black was very focused throughout the filming. Instead of being pressed for time, we actually had the leisure to take short breaks here and there," the creator of the show said as quoted by Soompi.

Kim had plenty of good things to say about Black, who voiced the title role in "Kung Fu Panda" movies. "In variety, it's very hard to get an hour's worth of material out of a four-hour filming. So we only thought about 'entertainment,' but in the end Jack Black ended up teaching the staff and members a lot. It was a time to look back on our roots," Kim added.

Recently, a preview of the upcoming episode was released. One can see the comedian participating in various games, pillow fights and other contests. The 46-year-old actor also performs the moves inspired from the viral K-pop number "Gagnam Style" by Psy. The sneak-peek also teases the appearance of comedian Sam Hammington and the host of "Non-Summit" talk show Sam Okyre. The actor also attempts to speak in the Korean language. The highly-anticipated "Infinite Challenge" Jack Black special will air on Jan. 30 on MBC.
