NCT 127 is all out with its flinty and obstreperous concept for their 2nd mini album "Limitless." Formed by SM Entertainment, the group made their debut in July 2016.
NCT 127 is the Seoul based sub-unit of the K-Pop band NCT, which stands for the Hallyu localization project Neo Culture Technology. SM Entertainment's founder Lee Soo-man coined the term together to describe the group's concept of having an unlimited number of members.
Their title track which is also called "Limitless" will have two music videos. The first one will feature the members' natural and unruly side, while the second one will highlight the group's strapping performance, Allkpop revealed.
With the group's recent release of Taeil's teaser clips and images, many are curious of whose teaser will be release next. Earlier, the group had released teaser images for Haechan, Mark, Taeyong, Doyoung, and Yuta.
NCT 127's upcoming album, "Limitless" is slated for release on Jan. 6 at midnight KST. The album will feature a total of six songs with different genres. Members Taeyong and Mark participated in the writing and composition of four out of the six songs, Soompi reported.
Most members of NCT were formerly part of "SM Rookies," a pre-debut group of SM Entertainment. Established in 2013, the pre-debut training team is composed of young trainees who have yet to debut in a pop group or solo act.
The first batch of rookies debuted as members of the South Korean K-Pop girl group Red Velvet on August 1, 2014, with their single "Happiness." The five member act is composed of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri.
The second batch of rookies debuted as members of NCT, which comprises different subunits. Its first subunit called NCT U, debuted in April 2016, while its second subunit, NCT 127, debuted in July 2016 and its third subunit, NCT Dream, debuted in August 2016.
