A new Chromebook from Asus is about to be available and details of its features have been leaked. News about its release started circulating the Internet on Dec. 28.

As expected, 2017 is about to bring forth new gadgets to the tech savvy and Asus has a product that might make heads turn based on the specs and other features that were leaked by Chrome Unboxed through Newegg's listing. This new Chromebook is also known as the Asus C302CA.

Prospective consumers could expect a 12.5-inch touchscreen out of this new Chromebook that one could also flip around. If anyone misses those flip-phones in early 2000, well Asus did it better with their upcoming laptop. Users could enjoy its 1080 p resolution, as they could also convert it into a tablet.

The Verge also reported that this new gadget is powered by a 2.2 GHz Intel Core m3 processor. It has a lot of options for connecting other gadgets now that it includes not just the ordinary USB 3.0 ports, but it can now fully convert those ports to USB-C. A microSD card slot is also available, which saves its owner money from buying a card reader.

It has 4GB of RAM, which a lot of people might be skeptical about the speed of its running. But there is nothing to worry about on that subject since it has a storage space of 64GB. Usually, someone should be bothered by how slow it could work when a laptop has 4GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The new Asus Chromebook could no doubt handle a good amount of speed that a user needs.

As for the price of this new computer, Newegg said it is available for $499, which a lot of people think it is a good deal. The release of this new Chromebook has been talked about since last year, but the company has yet to make a final say. Many are hoping that it won't be too long till this becomes available for the public to buy.
