‘Skyrim’ total conversion mod ‘Enderal’ to receive its own DLC on 2017

Modding has always been an integral part of PC gaming for the longest time already. We've seen numerous wonderful creations made by fans that provide innovative gameplay and improved graphics that surpass the base game. Such is the case with the total conversion mod for "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" called "Enderal," released back in August. Now, Now, along with the assistance of modding group SureAI responsible for the mod, "Enderal" lead writer Nicolas Samuel has announced that the immense total conversion mod will be receiving its own DLC called "Forgotten Stories."

Along with the addition of 10-20 hours of new content and gameplay, SureAI has actually detailed the "Forgotten Stories" DLC in its forums:

  • Two guild quest-lines: Join the Golden Sickle, Enderal's most influential merchants' guild and experience an exceptional non-linear story that deals with intrigue and greed. Delve into the secrets behind the Rhalâta, the mysterious cult ruling the Undercity.
  • A story mission revolving around the Sea Of Eventualities and Yuslan Sha'Rim's past
  • A quest shedding light on the Veiled Woman's origins
  • A mission that allows the player to explore in detail the death of a certain character
  • A secret ending for the main-quest
  • New bounty missions
  • Professional localization in both German and English (starring, amongst others, Dave Fennoy from "The Walking Dead" and Lani Minella from "Skyrim")
  • New weapons and sets
  • Several game-play changes and additions, such as hidden talents, rebalanced and overhauled crafting skills, high-level crafting, and enchantment that makes investing in craftsmanship a lot more rewarding.

The lead writer of total conversion mod, Nicolas Samuel has been working full time on the DLC's story with his very own resources since the SureAI has been preoccupied with their own projects at the moment. Since the projects cannot be supported directly, Samuel encourages fans to help him cover his "basic expenses" by donating to his Paypal account.

Just a little a recap, "Enderal: Shards of Order" is a total conversion mod with its own setting, world, lore and gameplay built upon the engine of "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim." According to GameRant, the mod was highly-received by critics and fans alike that it earned its big spot in The Game Awards 2016, bringing home the award for "Best Fan Creation." However, other than deserving its place for that, the mod was supposed to be competing against other fan creations, "Pokemon Uranium" and "AM2R" (a fan game based on the "Metroid" series), but they were scrapped from the competition due to the legal actions taken against them at the time.

"Enderal" has nevertheless deserved its spot in TGA 2016 and in the hearts of fans thanks to story written by Nicolas Samuel and rest of the work done by SureAI. The "Forgotten Stories" DLC promises to deliver more immersion and awesome storylines to both the modding community and RPG fans alike.
